Betsy Russell

It was a natural transition for Betsy Russell from a career in fashion to a love of working with clay. She first discovered clay as a medium for jewelry design and created beautiful one of a kind pieces of jewelry incorporating clay elements, beads and metals that truly could be deemed  “statement pieces.”

That ability to hand build has since lead her to other highly sought after items. One of her most meaningful projects was to create the image of the steeple from her childhood church on an ornament and to present 500 of them to the church.

Betsy and her husband Buddy along with their golden retrievers Bentley and Abby split their time between Ocean Isle Beach and Wilson, NC.
