Dale Yarmuth

Dale was born and raised in the mid-western automotive town of Saginaw, MI.

He attended college at Ferris State University, majoring in Commercial Art with a minor in Marketing. He has been an artist for over 45 years, primarily using the medium of pen & ink, watercolor as well as acrylic paints. Most recently he re-developed his skills in wire sculptures of trees.

His work career started at a small printer where he was their staff artist. Dale later went on to work for a medium-size Michigan advertising agency as an artist. Later he became the general manager of a medium sized advertising agency.

Presently, Dale is retired and has relocated to Myrtle Beach, SC. Enjoying the beautiful Atlantic Ocean and all the opportunities the Carolinas have available. He specializes in floral, landscape and trees. Old buildings and cabins allow him to express his love for rugged textures and combine them with the soft forms of nature this area offers. His wire trees make beautiful centerpieces, depicting the ruggedness of nature.

Dale is a former member of the Hollister, CA Art League as well as the San Benito County, CA  Arts Council. He has won numerous awards for his paintings entered into the San Benito County CA. Fair, including Best of Show for his watercolor/pen & ink of Lilies, Magnolia and The Bodie Church. His paintings have been on display in California art galleries and public buildings. He taught Pen & Ink with Watercolor and Acrylic for adult continuing education at Gavilan Community College.
